Subject: November Birthdays
Going through the birthdays this month I discovered that four of the birthday
celebrants appeared on "The Golden Age of Radio" with Dick Bertel in the late
'60s and early '70s: Jim Jordan (Fibber McGee) - Nov. 16, 1896, Fran Allison
- Nov. 20, 1907, Howard Duff - Nov. 24, 1913, and Peg Lynch - Nov. 25, 1916.
You can hear and download those complete programs, featuring one-hour chats
and examples of their work, at [removed] - as always, no
registration, no fee, no cookies.

Does anybody know of a definitive log of this series? Or if there are scripts
available?
OTRR's Otter log does not have the multiple broadcast dates I've found in a
search of newspaper radio schedules.
Listening to them has helped to identify correct dates on some of the episodes
but many are AFRTS where the CBS commercials and promos were edited out.
Many episodes are incorrectly dated duplicates.

Subject: Bob and Ray on TV this week
Don't know if it's been mentioned on the OTR Digest or not, but for
the last several nights, Bob and Ray have been the guest hosts on the
old b&w TV game show "The Name's the Same," which airs at 2:30 [removed]
CST on the Game Show Network (right after "What's My Line?")
Interesting to see them in that setting. Last night, one of their
young sons was a contestant.
