Subject: Roma Wines bottle
Michael asked about the Roma wine bottle with the strange-shaped top.
When I was searching the Web for answers about Roma wine last week, I came
across an illustration of a Roma print ad promoting the Roma Wine "exclusive
dripless wine bottle". It showed the Roma wine bottle and glasses on a
spotless
white tablecloth. The text promised something like the new bottle would not
ruin
your table linen like other wine brands could do.
Unfortunately I can't find that picture on the Web now, but I think that's
what
Michael had.
If somebody could find that Roma ad, and post the link here, Michael could
confirm if it's the one he had.

Subject: Pepsi
I am too young (53) to remember the Golden Age of radio. I do, however,
remember many of the jingles and ads from television.
"Come Alive! You're in the Pepsi Generation" and "For Those Who Think Young!"
are well remembered by me and were sung by Joanie Sommers ("Johnny, Get
Angry").
Listening to "Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar" and "Have Gun, Will Travel" has
introduced me to "Be Sociable". I like the commercial and the banter between
the male announcer and the female vocalist.
I also like her voice and was wondering if she had produced anything on
records like Joanie Sommers has done. The problem: I don't know who she is.
Does anyone know who sings the Pepsi jingle, "Be Sociable"?
