1956- Wild Bill Hickok (and Jingles) rode off into the sunset on Mutual
for the last time, having been on radio since 27 May 1951.
I think this may be one of that small handful of shows that started on
television and then expanded to radio for a time. I haven't time right
now to get out my TV references to check the dates of the TV version,
but this seems to coincide pretty closely. Or perhaps this was a show
that started on radio and TV simultaneously. If so, were there any
others like that?

I'm wondering if the Little House on the Prairie book series by Laura Ingalls
Wilder was ever dramatized. Written in the 1930s and early 40s, I think they
were fairly popular children's literature from their publication, yet I'm not
aware of their adaptation to radio. Anyone have further info on this?
Thanks,
Ryan
