Subject: Hall of Fantasy - kettle drum version - recreations?
The Hall of Fantasy was one of the series which introduced me to OTR. My
mom would make fun of the 'arrrgh!' With Richard Thorne's death, HOF
seems to have disappeared from syndication.
My question; were the ones with the kettle drum intro a recreation done
in the 1970s? The few 'bona fide' ones on AFRTS and recordings have a
vastly different theme and feel.
"The Hangman's Rope" was certainly a recreation.
There was a half-Hall of Fantasy ET which sold on Nauck a year or two
ago. I'd love to trade for dubs. if anyone reading was the buyer. It
would be worth your while.
I'm also looking for V-disc dubs from Muggsy Spanier.
