Does anyone have a copy of the March 16, 1940 CBS broadcast of PURSUIT TO
HAPPINESS? Supposedly the drama was "Two Cents A Word" with Danny Kaye, about
a pulp magazine writer. I dug up a lot about this broadcast but would really
like to listen to it.

Newsman Robert Trout is credited with coming up with the name, Fireside
[removed]
I'm certain I say this annually and somehow it repeats itself.
The originator of the Fireside Chat terminology was Harry Butcher, manager
of WJSV, Alexandria, Va., who knew FDR spoke by the fireplace in the White
House Diplomatic Reception Room. Robert Trout applied Butcher's epithet for
a dozen years. There is a difference, folks, in creating and saying
something. Taking nothing from Trout for his incredibly enduring
contributions to OTR, let's give the man who inspired it the credit for his
contribution to the mix.
