Her in some more on john Dunning. My wife bought me his first "Tune iin
Yesterday" "Yhe Ultimate Encyclopedia of Old Time Radio 1925-1976" in 1979.
I really thought I had died and gone to OTR Heaven. I needed so help on
dating programs ad other in good information.
Chuck Schaden was talking about an update thatb was going to biggn ad better
and it waspublished in 1998 . With 8 kids and a3 in college buying a cond in
Florida and a new car I had to wait until my kids bought me "On The Air" the
new Encyclopedia for my birthday i192.
The new is bigger [in size] and contents. a great reference.
I'm big reader and was looking for something to read in the library in
mystery section I came across "John Dunning" and it was the OTR Dunning. So I
stated reading his books as follows:
TITLE PUBLISHRED
Booked To Die 1992
Bookman's Wake 1995
The Bookman's Promise 2004
The Bookman's Last Fling 2006
His books were about a bookstore owner who bought and sold rare books and got
involve in murder and crime. some were good and one The Bookman's Last Fling
was very boring filled with a lot of unneeded detail. His books made no
reference to Radio.
Hope this fills in some info John Dunnig
