I believe Frederick Dannay is the name of one of the two writers who are
Ellery Queen. A recent post named him Charles, twice.
John Southard

I appreciated Ted's entertaining discussion of sound cues.

I am reminded of a baffling cue, found in a stage direction for a playscript
of Noel Coward's BLITHE SPIRIT: "[Character] enters, after having drunk a
cup of tea."
