Subject: EXCITING FOTR ONCE AGAIN

Charlie reminds me that yet another wonderful and exciting gathering of
the great radio shows with wonderful performers re-enacting those shops is
about to begin yet again.
Thursday, 21st October to Sunday morning with a star-studded gathering
from New York and Hollywood.
I am thrilled and honored to be a part of this gathering and look forward
to seeing the usual gang of maniacs as well as many newcomers who are as
thrilled as we are about this event.
This year promises to be very exciting with many great performers, some of
whom were actually there when radio was new and exciting.
Join us.
I will be performing as both Superman AND the Shadow this year as well as
a few announcers so be sure to come up and say hello, even if you can't see
me still under the Shadow's spell.
Check the schedule at [removed]
You'll never forget it as the wonder that is radio comes fabulously alive
once again in front of your eyes yet again thanks to Jay Hickerson's
Production and the mysterious wonders of the new Ramada Newark Hotel by the
airport.
So fly by and have the night of your life.

The Pepsi-Cola jingle as I remember it is:

Pepsi-Cola hits the spot
Twelve full ounces, that's a lot
Twice as much for a nickel, too
Pepsi-Cola is the drink for you.

-----As kids we had our own Pepsi Cola jingle.

Pepsi Cola hits the spot.
In your Stomach it will rot.
Tastes like beer looks like wine.
Oh my gosh it's turpentine!

Ted
Kneebone. Old Time Radio:

I've acually heard it in an OTR program like this:
Pepsi Cola Hits The Spot
Twelve Full Ounces Thats A Lot
Twice As Much For A
Nickle Too
Pepsi Cola Is The Drink For You.

It was sung by what sounded like
a chorus of women with music in the background.

Ted Kneebone posted nearly all the lyrics to the Pepsi-Cola jingle. The ones
he missed are in ALL CAPS:

Pepsi Cola hits the spot.
12 full ounces, that's a lot.
Twice as much for a nickel, too
PEPSI COLA IS THE DRINK FOR YOU
Nickel, nickel, nickel, nickel
TRICKLE, TRICKLE, TRICKLE, TRICKLE (fade away)
(Those last two lines might be reversed; I lost my copy of the ad.)
