show. It never aired.
I was told this by several people who were connected with the TV show.

Hi Everybody,
This Saturday 3-9-19 there will be a special free event of radio
re-creations directed by Barbara Watkins at the Pantages Theater at the
Tibor Ruben VA Medical Center 5901 East 7 Street in Long Beach. Door open
at 2 PM and the program will start at 2-30 PM. Some of the actors in the
shows will be Beverly Washburn, Tommy Cook, Stuffy Singer, Ivan Cury, Jimmy
Weldon, Alison Arngrim, and Jeannie Russell. The event is free and open to
the public and produce by SPERDVAC [removed]

No, you are correct, charlie. "I Love Lucy" was never a radio series.
As you said, Desi made a feeble attempt at it by using a television
soundtrack, and adding commentary where only visuals existed. It was
pretty awful. It's no wonder it didn't sell.
