For those who live in the Boston area (or even on Cape Cod, I think),
Buck-A-Book has a variety of Radio Spirits 20- and 30-hour cassette albums
for $[removed] each. Meanwhile J&R has the top-of-the-line Rio Volt CD/MP3/FM
player, the SP350, on sale for $[removed] (it can be ordered through
[removed]). One caution: I know the SP350 has a resume feature but I am
uncertain whether that returns you to precisely where you left off or to
the start of the track.

I am, of course, affiliated with neither of these companies.

Didn't I see Charlie McCarthy reading a book - "Mannequins for Dummies"?

The FOTR Convention Video Order Form is now on my web site. Just go to the
home page and scroll to the bottom of the page. There you will find a link
that pulls up a pdf file that you can then print out and mail.

I apologize if this appears in the same digest as the note mentioning I was
removing the log until I fixed it. Well, the fix is in and the log is now
complete as it should have been the first time.

The log is of the series NBC Presents Short Story and is based upon
information from the Library of Congress and the NBC archives. It includes
cast, synopsis, original author, script adapter and other information.

Hi again:

With all this talk about wish-lists for new OTR-themed books, my
paramount concern would be for someone to acquire the publishing rights to
reprint some of the long out-of-print titles that are always in demand such
as MUCH ADO ABOUT ME and TREADMILL TO OBLIVION by Fred Allen; the two books
of "Vic 'n' Sade" scripts, THE SMALL HOUSE HALF-WAY UP ON THE NEXT BLOCK and
THE BEST OF VIC 'N' SADE by Paul Rhymer; and W*Y*X*I*E WONDERLAND (the
history of WXYZ/Detroit) by Dick Osgood.

Yours/ether,

Derek Tague
