Subject: Petrillo's

I think I screwed up on my posting about the Petrillo's a few days ago.
There were two brothers active in Chicago music. James Petrillo was the
head of the musician's union in Chicago. His brother, Caeser Petrillo,
was the conductor on radio shows such as Mr. First Nighter, which
originally originated from Chicago. Olan Soule' and Barbara Luddy were
featured on that program. Olan and Barbara later moved their careers to
Hollywood. I was the engineer on a Sunday afternoon dramatic program
(PST) with Olan (I think Barbara was also on it but I am not sure),
Olan had a new Ford "Country Squire" station wagon. We would all pile
into it and haave lunch at Nickodell's. I was so enchanted with that car
that I bought one later after I returned to New York. (for some reason
Barbara didn't join us).
