Kudos to Walden Hughes, who just found who played "Polly Armstead" from the
west coast version of "Bobby Benson and the H-Bar-O Rangers." Walden was
interviewing 91 year old Jean Darling (Hiollywood child star in the 30s) via
Skype at her residence in Germany.

She volunteered that in the mid 30s, between her film work, including "Our
Gang" comedies, that she appeared regularly on both the Bing Crosby show and
the Bobby Benson west coast version. (Billy Halop and his sister, Florence,
were in the NYC production at the same time, with Billy in the title lead and
Florence as "Polly Armstead".)

In Los Angeles, Jean played "Polly" and another Hollywood juvenile actor,
George Breakstone, played "Bobby." She also recalled that Peter Dixon, a
reporter, was the writer for both coast's productions.
