Subject: Frederic "Bud" Baldus Jr.

I'm looking for information about Frederic "Bud" Baldus Jr. He wrote
three radio scripts:

The Shadow: "Dream of Death" 11/09/47
The Shadow: "The Three Mad Sisters of Lonely Hollow" 12/14/47
The First Nighter Program: "Oh, Bury Me Not" 02/19/48

He sometimes went by Frederic Baldus, other times by Bud Baldus, and at
least once by Bud Baldus, Jr. That's all I know about the man. I don't
have a date of birth or date of death or anything else.

I have checked Dave Goldin's [removed] and John Dunning's "On
the Air: The Encyclopedia of Old-Time Radio". Often google is my friend
in matters like these, but this time it has sadly let me down.

Does anyone have any additional information on Frederic "Bud" Baldus [removed]

Subject: Interview with OTR authors Martin Grams and John
 Abbott
X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: from multipart/alternative

Here's a recording about OTR books and the hobby that you might be interested
in. On July 15 I interviewed authors Martin Grams and John Abbott at the
Western Film Fair in Winston-Salem, NC. Martin is a prolific author, with 21
books and two more about to be released (about The Big Show and another about
Truth or Consequences, both with fascinating and surprising details). John is
noted for his 3-volume Yours Truly Johnny Dollar opus. We talk about their
methods for writing their books, what's in the works, and how collectors new
to the hobby can make significant contributions to the hobby. The discussion
was over lunch, so you can hear the clattering of utensils and plates, and
visits from waitstaff. Neither John nor Martin knew what we'd be talking
about, so it's all very spontaneous. Martin's writing bug struck early, with
his first book about Suspense, written in high school. The writing bug struck
later for John. His YTJD book was started because he was housebound with a
broken ankle about 15 years ago. There are two files, both mp3 format, a small
one at 32kps and a larger one at 128kps. We talk for about 48 minutes. Enjoy!
