Subject: Truth or Consequences

Truth Or Consequences was an interesting hybrid. A contestant was asked
a question. If he or she gave a correct answer, they'd get some small
compensation. If they didn't know, or gave an incorrect answer. the
"consequence" would be the stunt.

But as I said, in the shows I saw, the question was a riddle designed to
be impossible to answer. If the contestant answered the question
anyway, they were told they had been asked the wrong question and asked
another. In the years that I watched, nobody ever got a prize for
answering the question.
