Folks;
AOL is currently blocking the Internet OTR Digest (and apparently any mail
from this netblock) as spam. There is absolutely nothing I can do about it;
if anyone from AOL should ask you what's happening, you can direct them to
the Nostalgic Rumblings blog and suggest they complain directly to AOL
customer support. (And maybe consider a better free email [removed])

I don't think the book about Bass Reeves is an attempt to ride the coat
tails of the LR movie. (Surely someone could do better than that!).
I've seen this before, quite some time ago. I'm not saying that I agree
with that book author, Art T. Burton, just that he preceded the movie by
quite a bit and was not trying to ride the coat tails of anything. I
have not read the book.
Perhaps the author of the book review, Carol Kuruvilla is trying to get
a little notice in the wake of the movie, and I do mean "wake"....please
let it die!
