Been a long time since I've posted here, but always still reading.

I was listening to a Lux Radio Theater show from July 7, 1943 called
Airforce. Imagine my surprise to here Mel Blanc in a serious role.

my number 2 was in a tv western called The Wide Country. I believe it was
Jackson Beck, but of course they didn't say the title of the episode and I
didn't have a sighted person around to tell me for scherer darn it.

Both took me by surprise though.

This is one link for shows. I have previously found (and now
misplaced) another website that had seemingly every episode as a big
download, which I have on a hard drive somewhere. I found it on the
web - it's probably still there! 77 episodes were in the file.

My new book on Joan Davis, due out in April, has a substantial section
devoted to the comedienne's radio career. I need to give my publisher a brief
list of publications (and possibly blogs) that might be interested in doing a
book review. Can I ask your indulgence in recommending a few prime sites that
I should recommend to receive a review copy?

Here's the info on the book:

Thanks, all.

I was so shocked and horrified by the
Nightfall series that I gave all of them
to one of our traders. That show
spooked me!
