Subject: Old Time Radio on television
LIGHTS OUT, THE WHISTLER, AND SUSPENSE were alll adapted for television in
the late 40"s--early 50's. Were there any other old time radio series of the
mystery-drama-horror type that were adapted for television?

Subject: Graham Harris
A friend of mine, who heads up the DC group of Sherlock Holmes fans,
is interested in finding out information about Graham Harris, who
handled the music responsibilities on the early 30s NBC show of
"Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" which was sponsored by George
Washington Coffee.
The only additional information I can find about Harris in my
reference books is that he was also the music director on two other
NBC shows, "Red Trails" (1935) and "Danger Fighters" (1930-35.)
Any Digesters know anything more about this orchestra leader?
Thanks,
Jack French

I recall hearing on a Great Gildersleeve show that Kraft Foods was to
sponsor a summer show featuring SOME of the actors of The Great Gildersleeve
show and was to be mostly music. The title was to be something like
"Summerfield Bandstand"? Does the show exist someplace to hear these days for
us to hear?
Thanks.
