I'm sure listers are interested in the news of the death of Larry Elgart
at 95.

A one-hour interview with Mr. Elgart and some of his music can be found
at [removed] - click on "A One Night Stand with the
Big Bands," then look for program #23.

old-time-radio and big band music alive.

Subject: Re: The March of Time

I just finished reading The Boys Who Challenged Hitler. It is the
remarkable story of Danish schoolboys who committed acts of sabotage and
otherwise harassed the Nazi troops that occupied their town in Denmark. The
book
indicates that their story was told in an April, 1943, episode of the March
of Time radio program. By chance, does anyone have a copy of that show? I
would be happy to purchase it.
