_smlong@[removed]_ (mailto:smlong@[removed]) asks:
Are the characters "Bumps, the Clown" (of the Jerry of the Circus show)
and the character "Clint Barlow" (of Speed Gibson") done by the same guy?
Does anyone know who this man is/was?>

I would say give away your discs to local hospitals and old folk's homes.
Many of the patients/residents are older and actually remember OTR, but have

is, or how cheap and easy it is to enjoy.
After my father died a few years ago, I went around and gave away mp3cd
boomboxes and stacks of OTR (a project that we both worked on). Although the
boomboxes are a bit scarcer these days, I'm sure that all but the very oldest
dvd players will play mp3s from disc without any problem (the titles show up
on the tv screen, and one can select shows and control volume with the dvd
remote) - all these places have dvd players - no "new technology" for them to

Why, some of the staffers might even get some exposure to OTR, and we all
know that once you hear some of the shows, you're hooked. It might even
expand the hobby.
Time for me to make some new discs and start spreading them [removed]

Subject: More info on Jay Hickerson
Folks;
Again thanks to our friends Ken Stockinger and Jack French, we know that
Jay started therapy today (Monday) at the North Campus Rehabilitation and
Nursing Center, 700 North Palmetto Street, Leesburg, FL 34748 - cards and
notes can be sent there, or to his home (I previously posted his home
address, if you can't find it drop me a note). And as Derek Tague reminded
me, Jay's birthday is the 25th of this month, so a birthday wish wouldn't be
out of line, either.
