Despite its flaws, "The Legend of the Lone Ranger" was actually very faithful
to the established story.

For the most part, I liked it.  The main thing I didn't like was that we
saw Reid's face, and it took about half the movie before he became the
Lone Ranger. But for seeing his face, it would have been a fine movie --
if only they'd had Clayton Moore play the part.

There was a Lone Ranger TV movie a few years ago on the WB or the CW,
whichever it was at the time, that was a lot worse.
